What to check before you hire a maid
Count the rooms honestly
Pay tracks the actual workload. Understating the size of the house at the interview is the fastest route to someone leaving in a month.
Decide about cooking separately
A maid who also cooks is a different, better-paid role. Do not assume it is included.
